Visiting (transient) students are admitted as non-matriculating students in any semester. Widener Law Commonwealth is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the American Association of Law Schools. In accordance with normal policies regarding transfer of credits, most courses successfully completed at Widener Law Commonwealth can apply to your degree for graduation from the law school you attend. The acceptance of credits for any particular course should be approved by your law school.
To apply as a visiting student during the spring or fall semesters, follow the applicable steps found on the requirements and procedures checklist. Additionally, you must submit a certified law school transcript, a letter of good standing, and a letter of permission from your law school.

After you review the course schedule, if you are interested in this opportunity, complete the summer visiting student application form. Return the completed form, a letter of good standing, and a letter of permission from your law school to the address listed on the application form. Please list the course or courses for which you would like to register. We will begin processing your registration as soon as your application is accepted.
