Interested in enriching your law school experience beyond the lecture hall? The Student Bar Association (SBA) at Widener Law Commonwealth can help. The SBA sponsors so many campus activities, academic associations, community projects, and social events that the Harrisburg Campus has twice garnered "Outstanding School of the Year" awards from the ABA's Law Student Division.
Widener’s SBA offers a variety of different activities designed to expand your legal education beyond the classroom. Whether you seek to improve your legal research, writing, and editing skills as a member of the Widener Commonwealth Law Review staff or develop your courtroom skills as part of the Moot Court Honor Society, the SBA can help you find the right student organization.
The SBA supports a variety of student organizations dedicated to community service. You’ll find opportunity to help low- and moderate-income taxpayers with tax preparation and advice through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. If you are interested in public service, you’ll find a number of other opportunities to explore.
The SBA is committed to supporting the school’s diverse student body through organizations such as the Black Law Student Association and the Women’s Law Caucus.
