Provides coursework and hands-on learning opportunities in civil, criminal, and administrative litigation and dispute resolution. The program is designed to position students for professional placements with the region’s district attorney and public defender offices, with public agencies that conduct administrative hearings, and with private law firms.
Focuses on an understanding of the many areas of law that affect owners of small and midsize businesses—including business organization and structure, taxation, business transactions, financing, and employment management. The program is an excellent credential for attorneys serving clients who are small business owners, and also lawyers who have their own entrepreneurial aspirations.
Focuses on legal issues concerning the environment, energy, and climate change, preparing students to advocate, examine legal problems, and advise decision makers in the public and private arenas.
