Law School Core Curriculum

The Widener Law Commonwealth faculty has approved a general studies curriculum for all students. This required core curriculum consists of instruction in subjects that the faculty deem representative of a common core of understanding and shared experience, whatever specialty a graduate should follow after graduation. In addition to the core curriculum, the law school offers a menu of courses. Every law student has an opportunity to choose from two course menus, consisting of important practice and enrichment courses.

Writing Requirement In order to graduate, every student must satisfy the Law School writing requirement as provided in §1-501 of the Student Handbook.
